Last week saw a spontaneous trip to Brighton. I love Brighton, it really is one of my favourite places to visit in the UK, for its unique laines, undeniable style and that all important beach. For me, having always been bought up by the seaside a proper British beach filled with pastel huts, uncomfortable stones and cheap shops with buckets and spades fill me with a nostalgia and sense of ‘zen’.
I thought I would share a very comfortable outfit I wore during my trip, as well as a few little glimpses of Brighton beach, because who doesn’t want to see that?
I have finally got around to visiting Brandy Melville in Carnaby Street after lusting over their basic and slouchy style for some time and knew I’d fall in love with everything. However this slogan tee caught my eye.
I am forever wearing a slouchy top and skinnies and this mottled grey tee with an acid wash finish was the perfect one for me with the perfect slogan for any central Londoner – ‘I hate everyone’. I can tell this is going to be my weekend top of choice for sometime now. I paired this with a pair of old Topshop skinny jeans and new look black boots to complete the look.
