HAVE YOU BEEN DREAMING OF THAT PERFECT MAC PALETTE? BUT KNOW YOU’LL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT, ALL THE TIME YOU WANT TO EAT MORE THAN BAKED BEANS? THEN I HAVE THE PERFECT ALTERNATIVE FOR YOU…
We all lust over the Mac eyeshadow palettes filled with their gorgeous eye shadows but, when I saw The KIKO CLIC SYSTEM palettes, I knew I had to have one. Kiko are a brand I have been loving for a while now with their products never disappointing or burning a hole in my pocket they’re on to a winner.
The clic system palettes come in a variety of sizes incasing either 1, 3, 4 or 24 shadows of your choice. They’re a great way to travel with your shadows – both compact and sturdy. They’re sleek, black and magnetic meaning that your eyeshadows are secure and less likely to break.
WHAT SHADOWS DID I CHOOSE?
I wanted to pick colours that I would wear, but had nothing similar to in my vast collection. I purchased a 4 palette, but have only bought 3 shadows unable to pick just one another.
The most neutral shade I purchased was: 219 metallic rose – This is a gorgeous cool toned beige which has a beautiful hint of pink shimmer, perfect for creating definition on the eyes. I like this shade swept across the lid as the subtle hint of colour and highlight which is incredibly flattering.
Then a deep berry shade, ok I may have some shades similar to this beautiful eyeshadow but this is a more rich purple shadow that creates a beautiful smokey eye when blended out at the crease. 233 Pearly Mahogony is such a special shade that is perfectly shimmery and expensive looking.
And finally, this shade is totally out of my comfort zone but probably the one I have got the most wear out of. 270 Pearly Fearne Green is a stunning khaki green, with a slight finely milled silver shimmer through. I completely love how different this shade looked when creating a sultry smokey eye.
